Pastor David Withers is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas and a third generation preacher. He has served as pastor of Living Waters Church of God in Christ in Hot Springs, Arkansas since May of 1984. He is currently the Superintendent of the Malvern District of the Arkansas First Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ where his church is a constituent. Pastor Withers, serves a chairman of the Board of Superintendents for the Arkansas First Jurisdiction under the leadership of his brother, Bishop Jewel Withers, Jr. 

Pastor Withers obtained a certificate in Christian Education from the Boyce Bible College of Little Rock, Arkansas (an extension of Southern Baptist Seminary). As part of his earlier education and training he attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the Dale Carnegie Institute where he received a certificate in public speaking.  He attended the Staffmark Training Center and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. 

He has ministered in not only the Church of God in Christ Church, but for the Baptist, A.M.E., C.M.E., Church of God and the Assembly of God Churches.
His no-nonsense approach to the teaching and preaching of the Word has caused him to become a well-known minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has ministered in Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Wisconsin and Virgina. Also, in 1999 our pastor visited Israel, Turkey and Greece.

He has been ministering since November of 1979 where he served under his fathers leadership, Superintendent Jewel Withers, Sr., at Woodson Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Woodson, Arkansas until his elevation to the pastorage.

He serves the people of God with a humble spirit and is faithful to his call.
